Writing Unit 4: A description of a place (model)

                                        TOKYO

Tokyo, officially Tokyo Metropolis, is the capital of Japan since 1869. The city is  the most populous metropolitan area in the world, with a population of 38,14 million people. Tokyo is located in the southeastern part of Japan's main island. It is a modern place, famous for its technology and innovation.

Tokyo is a popular city to visit for tourists and you can find many things to do there. For example, there are a lot of parks and gardens, including four national parks. If you go to the  Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park, you can see the amazing Izu islands. Tokyo has also many museums, such as the Tokyo National Museum. This is the country's largest museum and includes works about traditional Japanese art. If I were you I would visit it. Besides, if you visit Tokyo, you can go to Tokyo theatres for performing arts.  There are national and theatres for traditional forms of Japanese drama. For instance, the National Noh Theatre and the Kabuki-za are the most important ones.

In conclusion, Tokyo is a very interesting city to visit. You can do many different activities and know many different places. It is an unique city which you will never forget.
